Business has never been the whole story. During off-work hours, I swim competitively — I’m a member of the Menlo Masters Swimming Team, with five USMS national top-ten finishes — cycle, and spend as much time as I can with my family.

I’m a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of DukeGEN (the Duke Global Entrepreneurship Network), and a brother of the Delta Sigma Phi national fraternity.

Family has been a constant through every version of my career — including the version of me that almost didn’t leave a stable corporate job to found a startup with two young kids at home. That decision, and the people who backed me through it, mattered as much to how things turned out as any deal I’ve negotiated.
